Lesson 3: Key Components of Effective Child Discipleship
We know child discipleship is important, but how do we actually do it well?
An effective child discipleship ministry needs to include the following:
- Gospel and Bible-centered teaching.
- A clear vision and plan: people need to know where you are going.
- Trained leaders that are part of a larger team and network. Curriculum is just a tool – leaders are the ones bringing it to life! Leaders need to be trained, they need support, and they need encouragement.
- Curriculum and resources that are engaging for kids.
- Church-wide involvement and support: the church family needs to be on board.
