Lesson 20: Preschool Large Group Opening Time
In addition to a Pre-Service Review Game and worship songs, the Preschool Large Group Opening Time also includes the following elements:
- Introduction to the concept of tithing and the opportunity for children to give.
- Introduction to the lesson of the day with a puppet skit (the script is provided in the curriculum). The script is always a dialogue between the Large Group Opening Time Leader and either Tracker the camel, or his sister Cami the camel. (Tracker and Cami are the same puppet; a bow can be put on the puppet’s head to indicate that it’s Cami). More details about how to prepare for the puppet skit can be found in the Implementation Steps resource (Lesson 43).
- Teaching children the Top 12 verses through repetition and actions.
