Lesson 44: Staying Connected
The main way the DLG and Alliance Kids teams communicate with churches is through email. Through these emails, we send:
- Membership information
- Curriculum updates
- Links to Tracker’s Treasures and Tracker Jr.
- Training opportunities
- New resources
- Announcements
To make sure you receive DLG emails:
- Add members@dlglobal.org to your contacts.
- Check your spam or promotions folder.
- If you find DLG emails in spam or promotions, mark them as “not spam” and move them to your primary inbox.
To make sure you receive Alliance Kids emails:
- Add alliancekids@cmalliance.org to your contacts.
- Check your spam or promotions folder.
- If you find Alliance Kids emails in spam or promotions, mark them as “not spam” and move them to your primary inbox.
Important: If the children’s ministry director at your church changes, or if your email address changes, let us know so your church continues receiving important updates.
Connecting with Other Directors
We have two private Facebook groups for children’s ministry directors using the Discovery Land curriculum:
- Discovery Land Global – US Directors: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1N2oatwbdw/
- Alliance Kids Discovery Land Directors: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1ACR7bSZDE/
Who can join:
- Churches signed up through DLG (using the DLG website): join “Discovery Land Global – US Directors”
- Churches signed up through Alliance Kids (using the Alliance Kids website): join both groups
These groups are a great place to share ideas, ask questions, and receive encouragement from the DLG and Alliance Kids teams and other children’s ministry leaders.
