Lesson 39: The On Track Map
The On Track Map is a tool designed to help the church and family work together to lay out a clear discipleship path for the children God has entrusted to us. It includes spiritual goals for birth through 6th Grade. Many of the ideas in this tool are woven throughout the Discovery Land program and leader training. Two styles of the On Track Map resource can be downloaded in this lesson – one is organized by goals for each category, and the other is organized by age group.
As leaders grow in experience and skill, we encourage them to incorporate more On Track Map skills into their teaching and leading. Because students enter DL at different ages, teachers are encouraged to regularly review the On Track Map goals for the younger ages as well.
