Lesson 29: The Components of the Lesson in the Curriculum
Each lesson in the curriculum follows the 4 Rights framework, and follows the same general outline… “Get Ready, Get Set, Go!” Let’s walk through each section of the curriculum.
Get Ready!
This section is designed to help the leaders in their preparation. It contains a short devotional for leaders, a prayer prompt, the Scripture passage to read and study, and a one-paragraph summary of the Bible lesson.
Get Set!
This section contains practical tips for Lead Teachers as they prepare their Bible Lesson. This includes important notes about difficult or sensitive subjects mentioned in the Scripture passage, articles or resources for further study, and creative ideas to help bring the Bible to life.
Go!
This section contains everything that will take place during DL. It includes instructions for the Pre-Service Review Game, Worship, and Discover Time activities, as well as the full Bible Lesson outline. It ends with review questions to be asked during the End-of-Class Review Game.
